Mentone Grammar School Foundation Limited
Established in June 1987, The Mentone Grammar School Foundation is the organisation through which the school seeks philanthropic support from the whole school community. The Foundation’s objective is to raise extra funds, over and above that provided by school fees and government grants.
The funds raised by the Foundation ensure that Mentone Grammar remains a leading school for boys and girls in Australia by maintaining, updating and expanding our facilities and educational programs.
A recent very generous donation to the School from the Foundation came in the form of transfer of land in Lucerne Street to make way for the building of the new Eblana junior school. The recent addition of our state-of-the-art Science and Environmental Studies centre was also supported by the Mentone Grammar Foundation.
The Foundation also has an annual Awards program which students can apply to, in order to assist them in a particular personal endeavour. Applications have now closed for 2010.
