Important information for applicants
It is the School's expectation that a student who receives a Scholarship will remain at Mentone Grammar until the end of Year 12 and will progress suitably well with good effort ratings. Families/Guardians/Students on Scholarships who leave prior to the completion of Year 12 will be asked to pay back the amount of fee remission provided by Mentone Grammar.
The number of Scholarships awarded and the percentage of tuition fee remission is at the discretion of the Principal. Further Scholarship options for other year levels or categories may be advertised later in the year.

Information for Parents
During the week preceding the exam date, you will receive an email notification confirming your child's testing level and venue and a map of the school pinpointing locations. Once your child is delivered to that venue, we ask that you make your way to the Function Centre to register for and join tour groups. Parents are not permitted to accompany their child inside the testing venues as this may delay the start time and can unsettle some students.
Parents are asked to collect their child from the Function Centre after testing which usually finishes between 11.45am and midday. You may choose to wait outside the testing venue from 11.45am, however, we ask that you refrain from talking directly in front of testing locations as it can distract the students inside.
Results
Students will be provided with their results by letter within six weeks of the testing date. Short listed students will be asked to attend an interview within this time also. We ask that that you notify us of any address change after the application date as soon as possible. Folios will be retained for successful applicants.
