Mentone Grammar’s contemporary facilities include outstanding learning environments for students throughout their learning journey, on 7 hectares of manicured gardens and sports grounds in beachside Mentone.
The Mary Jones Early Learning Centre for kindergarten and pre-prep students is nestled amongst shady gardens and beautiful play and learning spaces in a quiet, safe corner of the Eblana Junior and Bayview Middle school campus.
Eblana Junior school students in Prep to Year 4 learn in colourful, light filled classrooms which are located near the Warrigal Rd entry, and they will move into the new cutting edge Junior Learning Centre which is being developed between existing buildings and Lucerne St, later in the year.
The Don Ingram Centre is the hub of Middle School activities, providing a modern learning environment ideal for students from Years 5-8. The Frogmore Senior campus caters for students from Year 9-12 with its state of the art Science and Environmental Studies centre, glass classrooms, refurbished senior learning centre (library) also catering for some middle and junior school specialist classes.
The outstanding facilities at Mentone feature:
- The world-class Science and Environmental Studies Centre packed with cutting edge technology, six purpose designed laboratories including four specialised and two general labs, a student learning lounge and walk-in aquarium
- New Eblana Junior Learning Centre (for completion late 2010)
- Glass classrooms in the senior learning centre
- The very latest in classroom technology including Smartboards, Audio-Visual equipment, flat screen TV’s, and IT (Mac & PC) labs.
- A fully equipped modern Sports Centre including court space for basketball, netball, volleyball, indoor soccer, badminton and Olympic handball and other sports and recreational uses; a gymnasium, sports classroom and spectator viewing deck.
