Mentone Grammar’s 2011 VCE results are quite outstanding with more than one third of students achieving ATAR scores over 90 (Victoria’s Top 10%) and nearly one quarter achieving ATAR scores over 95 (Top 5% of State).
- 35% of students performed in the Top 10% of Victoria with an ATAR score over 90
- 24% of students performed in the Top 5% of Victoria with an ATAR score over 95
- 3.4% scored ATARs over 99
- 42% of all grades were A and A+
- 53% of students were in the Top 20% of the State
- A median ATAR score of 82
- 100% pass rate
- 2011 School Dux is Dane Sherburn who scored 99.75
Principal Mal Cater said, “As a School we are, once again, proud of the many achievements of our Class of 2011. Our teachers have done a remarkable job mentoring these students to success. These results are quite outstanding. The staff and students have worked extremely hard for these results participating in a broad range of other programs alongside their academic studies. The breadth of their talents is most impressive. They graduate from the School as happy, healthy young people."
