Mentone Grammar announced as finalist in Australian Education Awards

Mentone Grammar has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious Australian Education Awards 2018 in the categories of Secondary School of the Year (Non-Government) and Best School Strategic Plan. The Australian Education Awards bring together hundreds of leaders in education to recognise outstanding performance in the field.

Mentone Grammar Principal, Mr Mal Cater, said the awards are an acknowledgement of a concerted and strategic effort to ensure the School remains at the forefront of excellence in education.

“This achievement is a testament to the collective effort and dedication of the entire Mentone Grammar Community which I am extremely proud to be part of.

“The face of education is changing so rapidly with the influence of technology, and excellence in education has a new meaning. Schools must be contemporary and adaptable to ensure we continue to meet the needs of the modern learner. Our strategic plan has reflected this approach and we are extremely humbled to be acknowledged in this area across two categories.”

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony to be held at Dockside Sydney on Friday 17 August, 2018.
