GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

Every gift is an investment in excellence, empowering us to create inspiring learning environments, cutting-edge facilities, and rich educational experiences for every student.

We are deeply grateful for the unwavering generosity of our parents, alumni, staff, students, and friends. Your support brings our Vision to life and ensures our School continues to flourish today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.

Throughout our long and proud history, there have been pivotal moments when the School’s future was secured by the extraordinary commitment of our community.

These acts of generosity have helped shape the vibrant, dynamic school we are today where every student can find their own definition of Happy, Healthy & High Achieving.

All gifts over $2 are tax deductible within Australia.

COUNTDOWN TO GIVING DAY 2026!

On Tuesday 18 August from 8am – 8pm, we will once again bring our community together for Giving Day.

Making a Gift from Overseas

Technology has made it easier than ever for our global community to stay connected and support Mentone Grammar through philanthropy.

Residents of the USA can now make a fully tax-deductible gift through the British Schools and Universities Foundation (a 501(c)(3) organisation recognised under the US Internal Revenue Code).

Gifts can be made online, by cheque or through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF).

Giving through a Donor Advised Fund

To make a gift through a Donor Advised Fund, log in to your fund account and recommend a grant to the British Schools and Universities Foundation.

Please ask your fund administrator to include your name and a preference for Mentone Grammar with the grant. This will help the Foundation identify your gift and record your preference correctly.

Gift by Cheque

Please make your cheque payable to the British Schools and Universities Foundation. In your accompanying letter, please express a preference for Mentone Grammar. This preference should not be written on the check. Such preferences are respected by the Foundation.

To find out more about giving from countries other than the USA, please contact our Alumni & Development Manager.

Receiving a scholarship to Mentone Grammar changed my life. It gave me an exceptional education and opened the door to a rewarding career. I’m proud to support the Community Scholarship program so others can have the same opportunity, and I encourage those who have the capacity to give, to support this fantastic initiative.

Community Scholarship

The Community Scholarship offers life-changing opportunities to students with real potential entering Year 9 who would otherwise never have access to the Mentone Grammar education we all value so deeply.

More than financial support, it reflects our School Values and commitment to an inclusive, caring community that is dedicated to service. Through this scholarship, we are supporting students to achieve educational success and celebrating the enduring Mentone spirit.

This transformative scholarship was created through the extraordinary generosity of a family with deep ties to the School. Their founding gift brought this vision to life but for the program to live in perpetuity, we need our whole community to unite behind it.

One gift can change a life. Please donate today or contact us for more information and how you can get involved.

Sponsor a Seat in the Creativity Centre

The Creativity Centre has transformed our performing and visual arts, music and technology facilities. At the heart of the Creativity Centre is the 450-seat Thorold Theatre, the centre of the School’s performances, assemblies, presentations and events.

You can become part of Mentone Grammar’s rich history by sponsoring a seat within the Thorold Theatre and have your name, family name, children’s name, friendship group or sporting club named in perpetuity for the life of the building.

Your name deserves a standing ovation! Sponsor a seat today.

Building for the Future

Mentone Grammar’s Masterplan is designed to ensure current and future Mentonians have access to outstanding learning environments, innovative technology and enriching cocurricular opportunities. Grounded in our commitment to holistic development, each new facility will be sustainable, contemporary and purpose-built to support engaged and empowered learners.

For more than a century, the generosity of our community has helped shape the School through transformative gifts such as our Shoreham Camp on the Mornington Peninsula. Major gifts continue this legacy, creating opportunities that will benefit generations of students and help secure a vibrant future for Mentone Grammar.

Be part of what comes next.
