Simon is the immediate past Chair of our School Board, a position he held between 2005 and 2018.

His governance experience is broad including a period as Chair of Sigma Ltd. He is a retired Pharmacist who was the Executive Pharmacist at the Pharmacy Guild of Australia. Simon is current Chair of the Mentone Grammar Foundation.

Simon is the parent of three former students, was President of the Old Mentonians’ Football Club and his interests include researching education developments, playing golf, gardening and travel.

Simon is an Honorary Old Mentonian such has been his service to the School. Simon was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in 2007 for service to Pharmacy and to Education.
