SCHOOL CAFÉS
At Mentone Grammar, the Wellbeing of our students and staff is our priority.
We know that having access to healthy, fresh and nutritious food supports our Community to be Happy, Healthy and High Achieving.
To support this, we are proud to offer a wholesome range of high-quality and good value food and drinks at our various cafés across the School.
Frogmore Café
This vibrant café is located on the Frogmore Senior Campus in the Sports and Function Centre, near the Como Parade entry. During term-time, students in Years 9 – 12 can purchase recess snacks and lunch from a delicious daily menu.
OPEN: Monday to Friday @ 7.30am – 2.00pm
The Avenue Café
Located near Eblana Campus off Lucerne Street, entry is via The Avenue of Honour. Students in Years 5 – 8 can purchase recess snacks and lunch from a delicious daily menu. ELC and Eblana (Foundation – Year 4) students can order food via the Flexischools online ordering system.
OPEN: Monday to Friday @ 10.30am – 1.45 pm (NOTE: Café is closed during class time)
Greenways Café
As part of our dynamic Year 9 program, our students take part in a rotation to run Greenways Café including food preparation and barista training, marketing and sales, financial management and customer service. Year 9 students can also purchase recess snacks and lunch at Greenways as well as visit Frogmore Café.
OPEN: Monday to Friday @ 8.00am – 4.00pm
Flexischools & Lunch Orders
Lunch orders for students from ELC to Year 8 can be placed online from the daily menu offered at The Avenue Café via Flexischools. To set up an account, download the Flexischools App or visit the Flexischools website.
Cashless Payments
All cafés accept cashless payments only via an EFTPOS card or Student ID card. In order for students to use their Student ID card for café purchases, it must be linked to a Flexischools account.

Health & Safety
As always, the health, safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and visitors is a key priority. Our cafés will adhere to COVID safe measures, together with increased cleaning and sanitation.
