Community Scholarship
The Community Scholarship offers life-changing opportunities to students with real potential entering Year 9 who would otherwise never have access to the Mentone Grammar education we all value so deeply.
More than financial support, it reflects our School Values and commitment to an inclusive, caring community that is dedicated to service. Through this scholarship, we are supporting students to achieve educational success and celebrating the enduring Mentone spirit.

Building Fund
A great deal of research has gone into developing our Masterplan to support our positive culture and individual care, as well as educational and cocurricular offerings, and to ensure that our students and staff have the best learning and teaching resources.
Each new development will be environmentally sustainable and equipped with the latest in learning, teaching and ICT resources. Our strategic goals of supporting engaged and empowered learners through healthy and holistic development are central to this planning.

Sponsor a Seat in the Creativity Centre
The Creativity Centre has transformed our performing and visual arts, music and technology facilities. At the heart of the Creativity Centre is the 450-seat Thorold Theatre, the centre of the School’s performances, assemblies, presentations and events.
You can become part of Mentone Grammar’s rich history by sponsoring a seat within the Thorold Theatre and have your name, family name, children’s name, friendship group or sporting club named in perpetuity for the life of the building.

Major Giving Opportunities
A major gift is a substantial contribution that has a transformative impact on our School. Over the past 100 years, several members of our community have made significant gifts to support our students, contributing to buildings, scholarships, resources, and other programs.
One such gift is our wonderful Shoreham beachfront camp on the Mornington Peninsula, which was donated by Robert Sykes, a founding Board member. This generous gift has enabled generations of students to experience the unique learning opportunities available, and for many, has been the catalyst for lifelong friendships built during this bonding camp experience.
Leaving a Bequest
Including Mentone Grammar in your Will is a meaningful way to create a lasting legacy. Your gift, no matter the size, will help ensure future generations benefit from the rich opportunities, facilities, and supportive community that define our School.
