Mentone Grammar

Congratulations to Helena S (Year 10) who has been accepted into the University of Melbourne Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program, Class of 2025.

We are delighted to unveil three remarkable new sculptures to celebrate creativity and commemorate the centenary of our School.

Mentone Grammar marked a poignant milestone on Monday 16 October, as we officially bid farewell to our Year 12 students with a touching service at St Paul's Cathedral, followed by a Valedictory Dinner. There we unveiled the new portrait of Principal Mal Cater.

Our Years 5 & 6 students spent the last day of Term 3 planting 150 trees at Keysborough in as a special memento for our centenary celebrations and as part of our focus on improving our School’s environmental footprint.

Our students in Foundation to Year 4 had a ‘pawsome’ time at the Eblana Pet Service on Wednesday 13 September.

Our Social Service Team joined forces with the Sports Captains to organise three exhilarating staff vs students events. This initiative was aimed at supporting the not-for-profit charity ‘Pushing Barriers’, an organisation that provides youth refugees with opportunities and funding in sport!

On 25 August 2023, Principal Mal Cater officially badged the Head Prefects for 2024. As a community, we join in congratulating Will Sargeant, Bridget Scott, Amali Viel and Justin Li on their new appointment.

We are delighted to announce that Charlie McFarlane (Class of 2022), Jiahao Qian (Year 12), and Jevons Wang (Class of 2022) all received accolades at the Premier’s VCE Awards 2022.

As a part of Mentone Grammar's commitment to promoting inclusivity, we held a special Years 7-12 Assembly on National Sorry Day (Friday 26 May), to present our Firsts teams with their Indigenous sports uniforms.
