Introducing the Centenary Collection
The Mentone Grammar Centenary in 2023 has marked an exciting new era for our School – one defined by our contemporary, coeducational model. As such, we wanted our uniform to be reflective of this new age, focusing on changing student needs and community expectations.
Following many months of design, review and community feedback, our award-winning Australian designer, Jonathan Ward, has worked with our suppliers Noone and OnTrack Sportswear to reimagine the ELC, academic and core PE uniforms.
This new collection provides a more inclusive all-season wardrobe approach that includes a range of flexible, layering options so students can wear items all year if they wish, together with improved fabrics, fit and texture so items are more practical and comfortable to wear.
Quintessentially Mentone Grammar
By utilising the inspiration of the past, and the feedback from our community, the contemporary ‘Centenary Collection’ remains quintessentially Mentone Grammar and a uniform all our students can wear with confidence and pride.
Two-year uniform transition
To support our families as we introduce the new Centenary Collection, all students will be able to wear any combination of uniform items, ‘existing’ or ‘new’ for two years from November 2023 – December 2025. All students must be in the ‘new’ uniform for the commencement of the 2026 academic year.
