Junior School Leadership Team

We are delighted to introduce our Junior School Leadership Team: Belinda Klose (Head of Junior School), Julie Morgan (Deputy Head of Junior School), and Kayri Shanahan (Head of Learning & Teaching).

Belinda, Julie and Kayri lead our Foundation – Year 6 campus, bringing a wealth of experience, strong educational leadership, and innovative programs to our vibrant Junior School classrooms.

Belinda shared her enthusiasm for the role:

“I am genuinely excited to begin this chapter at Mentone Grammar and to work alongside our vibrant Junior School community. What I value most about this environment is the joy, curiosity and honesty young learners bring into every space. They remind us each day of the importance of connection, growth and shared purpose.

“Under my leadership, I hope students and families experience a warm, inclusive and supportive environment where every child feels known, encouraged and inspired to explore their potential. Central to this is delivering a ‘just-right’ curriculum that both challenges and nurtures each learner, empowering them to achieve their personal best.

“My goal is for Junior School to be a place where learning is celebrated, wellbeing is prioritised, and every student feels confident taking their next steps socially, emotionally and academically.”
